This was a scream at 6:30 a.m. Made me giggle so much that Borg Heath felt the need to munch on the side of my face. We'll have to get some video of that some day, 'cause I know you have no freakin' idea what I'm talking about.

The best part about these pictures, to me, is the smiles. They're REAL smiles. Break out a camera, and you usually get that pained, cock-eyed, crotch grabbing pose characteristic of any self-respecting, card-carrying member of the autism spectrum.

Columbus Day...the most useless, meaningless holiday EVAH! And the government gets the day off. But it means we'll get some things done while the kids are at school. One is great, the other...not so much.

The dog has to have a tooth extracted, and they are going to clean her teeth while she's under. Thank God, because her breath smells like ass. And then some. We're looking forward to not being able to smell it from the other room.

We're putting down a new carpet in the living room!!! Yay!

You know that blankie? Despite Queer Joe and several weeks of re-writing and hair-pulling (usually, I like that sort of thing...), I have come to realize that the author of that pattern is a sadist bitch out to ruin my life. I really hate to admit defeat because this has just never happened before. I have NEVER EVER had trouble following a knitting pattern. I've made clothes for goodness sake. I've created my own patterns. THIS JUST ISN'T FAIR!! Now I have to search all over again.

I asked my husband if he had ever seen me have trouble with a knitting pattern. He responded with a definitive "NO!" and then muttered something about cutting her brake lines. Exactly what I was thinking!
